Zumi is a user-friendly and affordable stand-alone car kit that facilitates the teaching of artificial intelligence (AI). It is a toy car that learns as you learn! The goal is to make artificial intelligence available and understandable to everyone. Artificial intelligence is present at each stage of life. Every time you use services such as Google Home, Alexa, a Tesla, and some mobile games, AI is present!
Therefore, knowing how to use it has become an integral part of tomorrow’s skills. That is why Zumi has been designed; to turn something normally complicated into something affordable to everyone.
Fun for beginners and coders alike!
Teachers and students don’t need any technical knowledge to follow the interactive tutorials provided. The challenges are easily understandable since they are based on visual blocks for beginners. No robotics experience is required to create an entertaining educational experience with Zümi. Once programmed, it is possible to play with Zumi without a laptop.
Beginners can use the web-based Robolink IDE on a standard browser to write codes for Zümi using block-based coding and Python. No special configuration is required.
Experienced coders can use Zumi to write their TensorFlow and Keras codes to carry out autonomous driving experiments and neural networks, but also program Zumi for object and gesture recognition.
