Description
Run Marco application is free and intended for children aged 6 to 12 years old who wish to learn the basics of programming. It is available in several languages, and they have the ability to walk through different scenes (jungle or snow) with the heroes (Marco or Sophia), in order to collect trophies.
Application Overview
Run Marco is a totally free application dedicated to teaching coding to children from 6 to 12 years old. In order to progress, they must make their character (Marco or Sophia) move through the environment they have chosen (forest or snowy plain).
To do this, they will use the coding tiles provided. As they progress, programming blocks will be added. Tutorials are available with each addition, to explain to children how to help and guide their characters into completing their missions.
What we like is the fact that registration is not mandatory to play or code with the application or on the website. However, it is necessary for educators and teachers who want to use the application in a classroom or who want to follow the evolution of their students.
